ONLINE - FireSmart Neighbourhood Awareness Workshop
When: Wednesday, February 28 @ 6:30 PM

The Village of Spring Lake is looking for Neighborhood Super Heroes to help pave the way for a safer 2024 wildfire season and beyond. Residents have been invited to attend the FREE FireSmart Neighbourhood Awareness Workshop.

As 2023’s warm and dry weather conditions have persisted in Alberta, the risk of wildfire devastating Spring Lake and our surrounding communities is extremely high this year. We are taking action to prepare ourselves and our residents before it’s too late.

On Wednesday, February 28 @ 6:30 PM, you will learn how your home and property are affected when a wildfire comes through. Attendees will be given resources and practical steps that you can take as a resident or property owner, to lessen those effects on your home and the community around you.

Help protect your property and community by attending the Neighborhood FireSmart Awareness Workshop.

Reports are also shared with Parkland County Enforcement Services.
